This course introduces the student to the theological, philosophical, historical, psychological, and structural foundations of Christian education in the church. Drawing on Exploring Christian Education (Sanner et al.), the course equips students to think theologically about education, to develop curriculum suited to the church’s mission, and to engage in educational leadership with spiritual and pedagogical integrity, especially in Wesleyan-Arminian contexts.
